Fiji is about a 3-hour flight from Auckland, and Air New Zealand operates daily nonstop service to Nadi. From the US, you fly to Auckland first (nonstop from LAX, SFO, Houston, Honolulu, or JFK), then connect to Fiji on a separate Air New Zealand flight.
