Japan has more nonstop connections from the USA than almost any country in Asia. ANA, Japan Airlines, United, Delta, and American all fly direct to Tokyo from a long list of US cities. West Coast departures from LAX, SFO, and Seattle take about 11 to 12 hours. East Coast flights from JFK and Newark run closer to 13 to 14 hours.
