Rome deserves 3 to 4 days minimum. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican City, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Trastevere neighborhood for dinner. You'll walk a lot. Good walking shoes matter more than fancy outfits.
