The new Air New Zealand service will complement Singapore Airlines’ existing Christchurch operations, creating one of the largest international flight schedules ever offered between Singapore and Christchurch. During peak travel months from November 2026 through February 2027, the two airlines expect to operate up to 15 weekly flights on the route. Travel industry specialists say the additional frequencies will provide greater flexibility for passengers planning vacations, business trips, family visits, and international itineraries connecting through Singapore. Increased flight availability may also help improve seat access during busy holiday periods when New Zealand typically experiences strong inbound tourism demand.
