Qantas routes through Sydney with PE on the longer leg. Round-trip connecting fares with a PE cabin on the long segment typically run $2,000 to $3,500. Fiji Airways Business Class direct runs about $4,000 to $7,000 round trip. For the money, a connecting PE fare with Air New Zealand might be the smartest play.
