Last-minute booking

Hotels with empty rooms drop prices 1-2 weeks before arrival dates. This works if you're flexible on dates and locations. Risk: limited room selection and sold-out properties during busy periods.

Offers good rates across most US destinations. Spring (April-May) sees moderate pricing except during spring break weeks.
