Qatar Airways Restores Philadelphia–Doha Nonstop Flights, Giving US Travelers More Global Connections From August

Qatar Airways is restoring its nonstop Philadelphia–Doha route from August 1, bringing back a key international connection for travelers across the U.S. East Coast. Qatar Airways is set to restore daily nonstop flights between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Hamad International Airport (DOH) beginning August 1, 2026, marking the airline's return to Philadelphia after a four-year absence. The reinstated route gives travelers in Pennsylvania and neighboring states another direct gateway to one of the world's largest international aviation hubs, making it easier to reach hundreds of destinations across Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australia with a single connection through Doha.

The return comes after American Airlines decided to discontinue its Philadelphia–Doha service, which it had operated following Qatar Airways' suspension of the route in 2022. The A350-900 is designed for ultra-long-haul operations and offers a quieter cabin, improved fuel efficiency and enhanced passenger comfort. Selected aircraft operating the route also feature Qatar Airways' acclaimed Qsuite Business Class, although availability may vary by aircraft assignment.
